House and setting rules

1- is about Shoddy, Standard, Superior and Excellent items as in C&G 67. Also Profession Scribe use Dex. as Primary Characteristic.

For the Supernatural Virtue Craft Magic of the Rustic (HoH:S 131) all Craft and Profession ability that clearly produce something, like Scribe, the Virtue owner have can be used. So you don't have to assign 1 special ability that this virtue only can used with.

spells for bjorners that affect both forms:
If a spell has an effect that can be done with both corpus on humans and animal on animals then pick the one with the higher guideline and add the other as a requisit. If it can only be done on one of the two then simply add 1 magnitude with the requisit. These guidelines apply only to those with the heartbeats virtue and only with range: personal.

some basics for castings:

  1. spells under magnitude 30 never cause warping
  2. spells magnitude 50 and above must be ritual
    these are from core- the following are rulings that apply-
  3. spontaneous spells are considered designed for their target, and do not cause warping due to magnitude
  4. ritual spells may be improvised, take the time and vis for ritual spells, the fatigue for improvisation must be long term, and if they fall short thy follow the rules for spontaneous magic rather than ritual magic i.e. they tend to fail, still having cost vis and fatigue.

I consider MOH and LOH to be largely fluff, do not rely on sample spells or virtues and flaws from these books. An exception is exciting experimentation, more may be posted later upon individual review...

ruling on flexible formulaic magic- you may change an aspect of a spell between two choices of the same level, but are still restricted to changing only one of range, target, and duration.

MuVi spells appear to have an unwritten rule which I am making explicit, that when MuVi is used to raise a spell which has already been cast it must have a specific spell for each form.

Diedne magic works the same way as a magical focus, and only one may be applied per casting.

From this point forward divine aid may be invoked by any (divine) theology as well as by Divine Lore, but is more specialized- this will apply to most uses of divine lore for ritual use. Note that in some cases theology does not require belief- for example a member of a mallus infidel may believe Muslims are servants of the devil and learn theology (Islam) to use for ablating Muslim divine entities. The entities involved will still hold dominion interaction however, so the ablation score to might will need a significant advantage...
