I suggest you ponder Bayesian inference as well as the Chi-square test if you want to have the mathematical tools to estimate the truth value of a statement. It can be fascinating (and not even that complicated).
Last session of our saga:
The players have decided to use their new "impossible" 
magus for creating a special gift for all covenants who will join their project (the universitity of magic).
He will scribe a book on Rego of level 25 an quality 15 only for the founders of the university. Regulus(mr 85), with the help of the other bonisagus, is going to invent an Aegis of level 50 to cast upon the school, to protect all students from each other (they know how suspicios a magus can be).
Last,but not least, the Bonisagus cuple will work over the creation of Portal of Hermes spell (the idea is to create a ghatering points all over mithyc Europe connected to the University, so magi who lives really far, could easily travel to it).
They started the project and began to find the first problems.... life is not so easy as one could think

Yeah i figured it was almost perfect for the subject. 
Last night session:
AD 1223 Jerbiton and Mercere magi start their trip around ME.
Each new born covenant in Europe must be contacted and invited to a great gathering in summer of 1226. Traveling together, the two magi have different tasks: find spring covenants the mercere and search for good mundanes teachers the jerbiton.
The troupe decided to start the school in no more than 5 years for a single reason: avoid polticals interferences from the olders covenants and magi.
They think that someone would see at this project as a danger for his own power and secondly for Order's stability, but they also know that powerfull magi takes a long time to react, so speedly up the project would probably permit creation of the University without any external pressure.
They also think that, once the School will be a reality, all the efforts to bring it down will be more difficult.
The troupe is now playing the journey; they start with the teban and levant tribunal and apart from some unexepected events along the road, they contacted 2 covenants and a couple of errant magi.
On the other side....
Regulus and the other bonisagus keep going on their part of the job. In autumn of 1223, a mercere brings a good news to Regulus: he found his lost sister in Novgorod Tribunal, in a spring covenant named Yuras Mathe. Lust (that's the name of the women) and Regulus have both the gift, but they were separated when she was 5 and he was 7. Both were apprentices of a criamon magus, but a Bonisagus saw him and took away with him, separating the 2 brothers. After gauntleted, Regulus starts to search his sister and now he finally find her.
Now he is planning to travel for meeting her in the next summer, taking a little rest from the project.
As I said, I cannot write more of the story, because my players read this forum... all that I can say is that.... some evil plan of the SG will rain down over my troupe in the nexts sessions
