Hibernia considers the Tribunal to be an extension of magical authority over all Ireland and as such the ancient races, the Coill Trí, and supernatural beasts of the land are owed representation. Each recognized faction may send a voting ambassador to the Tribunal and all those of the supernatural realms have the right to representation. The Infernal has not, as far as the Tribunal knows, tested this right.
What if someone did?
A little girl who seems about five shows up, and claims to represent “The Dead, all of them”, and claims the right of representation for the infernal, since some ghosts are damned.
She does have a skeletal cat following her around…..she has at least some necromantic chops.
Kill on sight?
Humor the child?
Take her as an apprentice?
I am open to suggestions, especially how older magi would use this to their advantage to drive a rift between the factions.
Get a better grip on the situation by asking many questions, but my first take is that this is either an Infernal agent or a Faerie creature of some kind.
If it’s established that she isn’t a faerie or infernal, proceed.
If she does have reasonable evidence of representing faerie, and not a court already represented, allow.
If she is an apparent demon, reject.
If she claims to represent a demon, or Hell itself, and is mortal, that’s a more interesting problem.
The thing is that, if it’s an actual demon trying this, and showing up by letting its nature be known, any magi that interacts with it as an ambassador of hell could be commiting a marchable high crime.
If girl shows up after having ended a long standing war of realms or tribes. Or if she has the support of powerful magi / entities. If she offers something substantial to the order such as immortality or ability to truly bring back to life say… a Hermetic founder. Or offers “sessions” to be taught by the dead some lost arts.
The more support she has, the better chances of not being immediately killed/banished by an ArchMagi that does not tolerate the infernal
