One thing the internet makes very easy is to open, and keep up, ongoing "communication channels" with other gaming groups. I've often taken advantage of this to have events/characters/stuff from other sagas "leak into" mine; generally, this has considerably enriched my troupe's gaming experience.
The effect is maximized when multiple gaming groups all agree to small "cross linking", often in some specific aspect of the world such as trade or fashion. When setting up a thread that promotes such "linking" between different sagas (e.g. the Trade with Rufus the Redcap! thread) I'll hereafter use the [INTERSAGA] tag. I hope you'll use it too!
