Laboratory types

In Am4 you could get bonus' by "specializing" a magic lab. I am assuming that you can do similar things in ArM5.

What I want to know is, is there a "Safe" improvement on a lab? You can specialize it so it is less likely to explode, and that when you do, you roll less botch die.

There has been a lot of items and spells listed on this forum which would make a lab safer, but is there provision in the rules?
