More Music needed

I appreciated the music list in the Jammers Sourcebook and i've got a hugh collection of butt-kicking-action-songs. Of course I can't have ebough, so when you have some good tracks - tell me...please...

thanks

I love to use music, when I run a game. Sometimes I look through my
collection select a "soundtrack" for the key moments of the adventure.

Here a few pieces of music and a few ideas what to do with them:

The Kill Bill theme:
Hard beats, e-guitar and an iconic bad ass feel over it. Makes your
players feel cool while doing things, be it slow motion or not.
A good pre-mission music.

Effectively used in: Kill Bill (of course)

Dies Irae (from Mozarts Requiem):
A powerful, fast chorus. A wonderful music to score epic destruction
in a sophisticated environment, like a cathedral or a large classicistic
building. This is perfect for heroes who see destruction as an art form.

Effectively used in: X-Men II (Nightcrawlers first appearance)

The Heist (from "The Italian Job"):
A fast paced chase music. Has a very cool feel about it. My players
drove an ambulance car through(!) a mall to this, while fending of
a bunch of hostile agents.

The "Battle Hymn of the Republic" (classical song):
This hymn was written to the music of the song "John Brown",
during the American Civil War. It's a very militaristic music, that
invokes images of marching soldiers, uniforms... and guns of
course. Personally I think it's a bit over the top. That's why I plan
to use it for a rather hyper gun nuts arms dealer, who describes
his beloved collection to this...

The Navajo Joe Theme (by Ennio Morricone)
A general advise first: Ennio Morricone is one of the best composers
of all time. Check out his stuff. Not only will you find music to score
your best ideas, but you'll get even new ones...
The Navajo Joe theme is unique and breathes the hot air of
a rock filled desert under a merciless sun. If you plan some sort
of showdown in the desert or in a deserted highway through it...
This is your score!

Night Fight (from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)
(was called "Tiger & Dragon" in Germany)
Slow, silent intro of asian flutes (or something like that), then
the drums start, fast, loud, like a flurry of blows and kicks...
that's exactly what it was made for. A perfect music for
martial arts.

I play a "sometimes in the future" campain and I like to play songs by Akira Yamaoka (maker of the Silent Hill sound track, for example). It's kinda raw and industriulized, perfect for a creeping cyberpunk environment.

I'd suggest anything by JAM Project. Good, blood pumping electric guitars just right to set off a contemporary or 2056 fight. Plus, it's in Japanese so you don't get distracted by the words.

This song is pretty much my ideal bad-ass, slow walk to the camera, let's get down to business track.

I got a suggestion for the Rambo: First Blood soundtrack. I pulled up some of the score pieces and listened to them on You Tube. Seems to me like they would make some good stuff if you're looking for something with a little less pulsing bass.

Other than that on suggestion of this post I looked up the Italian Job soundtrack and have to say I have to give that one a resounding +1. It's enough ambiance to get a good feeling for some adrenaline but not so interesting that it's distracting.

I also love to hear to the instrumental music & classical instrumental is very rarely available and this is the reason can I have been making my own instrumentals , by editing the songs, and removing the speech.

Mucca Pazza - Bump (after the cheer and drum break)

More so in the studio version, but especially when all the horns come in it always makes me think of old Superhero themes of yore, like something that would have been the Batman theme or the like. It's also high energy, and I'm just kind of obsessed with this band at the moment.

On the General's Orders is one piece I use heavily. I've got numerous variations of it. A link bellow is to one version of it.
