This duration is as long as you can sing a song!
Max duration is about 1/2 sun?

Check TMRE p.29f Performance Magic, and there p.30 New Duration: Performance.
Both the 'Performance' and 'While' durations allow what you describe in their own way, but require special virtues to access - though of course you own character may acquire it in other ways.
In any case, both are considered equivalent to Concentration (which seems reasonable).
