[New spell] The self-centred clay

Thanks a lot for the clarification!

The Hyperborean Clay
CrTe 05
R: Touch , D: Ring , T: Ind

A base individual of clay (10 cubic paces) is created with the property of being attracted to light.
This is the same as the attraction iron has to lodestone.
The reverse is not true , however , light is not attracted to the Hyperborean clay.
The stronger the source of light , the more forceful the attraction.
Light from a single candle , starlight , light of the full moon , sunlight at noon in summer on a day without cloud cover.
The Hyperborean clay may be worked in the same manner as normal clay.
Rego Craft magics would be useful , as the clay needs to be worked in the dark or low-light conditions.

Base 01: Create clay , +01 Touch , +02 Ring , +01 unnatural property.

The Hyperborean Pancake
CrTe 10
R: Touch , D: Diam , T: Ind

Creates a 3 inches, 10 paces square rock pancake in front of the caster. This usually appears knee-high, as magi don't like to bend down to the ground. Everyone in the zone covered is hobbled. The pancake is pulled upward by the Sun.

Base 02: Create stone , +01 Touch , +01 Diameter , +01 unnatural property, +01 size.

Well, at least it won't break everyone's ankles. But 2 minutes is a lot of upward movement, enough to fall to their death. Magic Resistance will keep the stone away. Robe-wearers will stay on the ground but might get hit by the pancake moving up. Pants-wearers will have each thigh deep in its own hole and will require some (Mu/Pe/Re)Te10 to free themselves immediately. Or they can wait if they have some way to get back down safely.

There was no actual movement rate given for my Hyperborean Clay spell.
As stone is heavier than clay (afaik) , then it will rise far more slowly.
My usual basis for comparison is The Unseen Porter on page 156.

Sensible magi will carry a parachute of Hyperborean Silk (in a dark place of course) for this and similar emergencies.
The Silk , once unfurled , will readily support the weight of any magus of Size +01 or less.
