I have read and read the Ars Magica 4th edition rules, and have now tried to carefully read the 5th edition rules.
This game has long interested me. (I am a very long time RPG player and GM, going back to the late 70s.)
However, having never played Ars Magic, I expect I have some misconceptions and am missing some things. Also, I am likely to ask a lot of questions early on for the same reason. Hence I would not want to impose on a GM without them realizing this.
I have not been able to find a face-to-face Ars Magica game near where I live, and even if I could, I travel so much on business (almost always with good Internet connectivity) that joining a new group in person would probably be an imposition on the group.
I do have a couple of ideas for magi, assuming that they do not conflict with other players interests.
Anyone willing to work with me?
