Essentially, yes, if nobody dies, the wizard's war expires at the end of the month unless it's constantly renewed. That's the only way I can think of a tie.

What happens if you capture the other Magi, and tie them up for the rest of the month? Is that a win, or a tie?

I suppose that's a tied up magi. I hope you're smart enough to capitalize on your lunar month while he's tied.

Wizard wars are not generally scored, so what is a win or a tie is highly subjective.

Does the OoH has #metoo?

By #metoo, you mean apprentices of the opposite sex who are legally property for 15 years?

The order's social media presence is incredibly small.

@silveroak Can you tell me, based on what I saw flying, what the terrain surrounding the covenant is like? Is it mountains in all directions? How far? Are we in a valley? How large is it? What else is there in the valley aside from the building with the labs + beds, the one with the library and council chambers, and the pens of the magical creatures?

@silveroak I didn't see the new scene thread until after I put in the walk-about for Argentius. Happy to have that be his "heading to lunch" opener and can re-post it there if you want.

Did servant come knock for those still in there labs?

The mountains extend for roughly 75 miles in all directions.
Beyond that is desert.

Walking to lunch is good as well.

On Argentius's Lab:

I've got the following from a couple of references:

Palatial

Aesthetics (Impressive) +3
Enchanting (Making magical items) +2
Intellego +4
Teaching +2
Texts +1
Perdo +1
Imaginem +1

Quality (general) +1

Warping +1
Upkeep +3

"The lab looks expensive (3 upkeep) and impressive (3 aesthetics) and clearly designed for making magical items (+2), though the enchanted lighting might cause some irregularities in the process (warping 1), with a heavy focus on intelligo (+4), and a slight benefit to teaching (+2), texts (+1), Perdo(+1, from the surroundings), and Imaginem (+1), as well as a slight overall increase in quality (+1 general quality)."

And a reference earlier to Palatial.

I'll go look at the Covenants book on labs, but am I missing anything?

Not sure I saw anything about refinement, safety, health, or size but perhaps that's implied.

greater feature: map, lesser feature:forge, lesser feature:tablet, superior lighting (enchanted), vile surroundings (everyone has this), and level 4 refinement, size:4, health is 0 (vile surroundings and palatial balanced)

say that again?

Vile surroundings.

Are the labs all in dedicated buildings? I get the impression that the covenant is largely a bunch of individual buildings rather than a bunch of multi-room, multi-purpose buildings.

@silveroak Rules interpretation question: is it possible to cast multiple circle-ring spells on one physical circle? I.e. you have a metal band inlaid into your floor, then you cast three different spells on the same circle.

If not, is it possible to cast embedded circle-ring spells? I.e. you cast one in a smaller circle, then another on a larger one, forming an embedded Venn diagram of sorts in which the innermost circle is affected by two effects.

where is the lunch taking place?

Lunch is in the meeting room.

Labs are within sanctums, which are individual houses but the labs are not.

Silas would probably not go there until someone tells him too. But since hes walking around bugging covenfolk I guess it could be arranged.
