Open License Bundle Gathering Authors

Thanks for the reminder. I've put Ars Magica Monsters 1 & 2 in at $9 combined.

Perfect. I will add everyone to the author list tomorrow.

This leaves us with one last question before going live:

What cover image?

Maybe... an article from Wisdom of the Desert ? (I must speak about it with Temprobe)

and for cover... a book on a table, with feather, ink and a bookshelf ?

That would be nice if there's one lying around or someone can donate a non-slop one quickly. Otherwise some variant on the Order of Hermes sigil is fine.

Lothindil draws with software, she doesn't prompt. We will indeed discuss what makes most sense to include in the bundle.

Art by Dean Spencer. I'm one of his patrons, so I have the rights for this.

If we like this, I'll send a larger version. And I can easily change the text to match the official title of the bundle.

I've just realised how close that is to the cover of my product. How about this? (Art from the same place. I've been Dean's patron for years, so I have quite a bit that I'm allowed to use.)

I prefer that one of the two. it doesn't bother me if it looks more like your cover than another's.
I would just make the picture in the middle bigger by 20-30%.

How about this?

I am happy with this. I will use that unless there is any opposition.

@Lothindil and @temprobe , please let us know if you will contribute something and which of you I should send the link and password to.

Hey, if you want to include the Markdown version of Definitive Edition in the bundle (50% of free is still free), it's up on DTRPG now and I'd love to add it. Then you can pitch the bundle as being self-contained as something people can buy and play the game without anything else.

Great idea! I will message you the bundle code/pw.

Done, and thanks!

Then while we wait for the final possible submission, anyone want to draft a blurb that I can paste in?

Many bundles don't have a specific blurb, but we could always keep it simple:

"A bundle to celebrate the official release of Ars Magica: Definitive Edition. All products are licenced CC-BY-SA under the Ars Magica Open Licence."

Ok, it seems like everyone interested has added something. I will wait another 24hrs or so, to give a last chance to latecomers.

Otherwise, forever hold your peace...

And it is live!

And its pushed Peregrinatores over the line and into copper status.

Thank you for doing the admin!
