[Project: Redcap] Updates to Suggested Reading page

Dear Ars Magica community,

I'm reviewing the current list of resources and recommended books listed on the Suggested Reading page. I added a new section called Online which lists a few resources. Take a look and feel free to update with new recommendations.

Also, let me know if you have other suggestions for Project: Redcap (http://www.redcap.org/page/Main_Page).

Thanks for your involvement in Project: Redcap,
Walter

A resource - History of Western Philosophy by B. Russell (?) was useful for the views of Plato etc, who we seem to reference a lot. It might be too broad though and the books David has recommended probably are more on point. I found it useful.

I like Russell's work very much as his writing is eloquent and clear.

Does anyone else have other recommendations?

Feel free to edit the Suggested Reading page as you see fit.

Thanks,
Walter

"The discarded image" from C.S.Lewis (aka Narnia guy) is an overview of "the world and universe as middleage people were seeing it". It seems to be accurate. I didn't read it though.

I appreciate the replies, Cathelineau and ironboundtome. Does anyone else have any suggestions for the Suggested Reading page?

Do you recommend Kieckhefer: Magic in the Middle Ages already somewhere on Project: Redcap? It is certainly well known to and often mentioned by Ars gamers.

Cheers

Thanks for the recommendation, One Shot. You're welcome to edit the page with this book recommendation:

When going about entering there Magic in the Middle Ages, I saw that David Chart had already done so long ago, under History of Magic.

Cheers
