Page 102 in covenants talks about studing realia. Bottom of the 1st colum, top of the second says..

A collection can be studied as a tractatus, a single object as quality 1, two as quality 2, 4 as quality 3, and so on. Realia collections rarely rise above quality 6 which requires 64 excelent specimens

I'm not seeing the pattern here to get from 4 giving quality 3 to 64 giving quality 6. Can anyone help me out?

two to the power of (level-1), the number required doubles every level.

1=1
2=2
3=4
4=8
5=16
6=32
7=64

Wait, did you say that level 6 requires 64 specimines while level 2 only requires 2?

Perhaps they mean you require 64 excellent specimens to "rise above quality 6", not to reach quality 6 (which requires 32, as Erik Tyrell showed)?
