Sight of The Warm Surfaces Societas p.65 - Errata required

Not sure I understand fully the effect.

Why is the spell touch? Is it to give that ability ot other people? Or is it because we are shifting the sense from Touch to Vision?

Also, calculations of the effect would make it a level 20 not 15

B:2 +1 Touch +1 Conc +4 Vision

Maybe it was intended to be Personal at level 15?

Also, this seems to lead to be an effect very similar to InIg 20 Vision of Heat's Light p.141 of Core book

To heap onto the problems with that spell:
If it has T:Vision it should normally be an Intellego spell, not a Muto spell.
But from the description of what the spell does, MuIm seems correct which means that T:Vision is incorrect.
T:Ind or T:Group seems more likely, but then the level calculation is wrong anyhow.

R:Touch makes sense, since it changes species the touched object emits.

I already presented this to David Chart. It's receiving an erratum.

Do you have the final outcome?

I pointed out the whole Muto-Vision thing. Also in the description there is a non-sensical varying appearance by observer for Muto, despite most of the description fitting Muto. That would be more of a Vision thing, such as for a color-blind person versus a non-color-blind person using Vision. Normally I suggest small edits to fix a problem. But this one requires so much I mostly pointed out the several issues and didn't give suggestions, figuring he could choose what he really feels like the spell should do. I'm pretty sure David is going to adjust it to be truly Muto, keeping it distinct from Vision of Heat's Light, but I won't know the exact decisions until the next set of errata.
