Hi,

I keep coming across this. Could anyone please give me a) a quick rundown on the term in-game, and b) a reference where to look for more on the topic?

RoP:D pg. 70. It's a tradition within the Order of Hermes that teaches Holy Magic.

It's also a cult from late antiquity of a sun god, and was often used to combine worship of Mithras and Sol as well. There's a little bit of discusion about it in TMRE, but The Cults of the Roman Empire by Robert Turcan is a decent reference. There is always wikipedia to give basic overview, but it's best as a springboard to better references:
