Hi!
I'm noticing minor errors in the "Rough PDF" chapters that backers are being given. I know these are "rough" files, but would Atlas like us to point out errors so they can be corrected?
The pages don't have numbers yet, so it's hard to reference them, but here's a few examples of simple glitches that could be corrected...
-
Chapter II, in the section on "Tranoma & Viea", second paragraph: "The Parma Magica protected him from their assault, and he captured them, demanding that they taught him their magic, while he taught them in return." That first "taught" should be "teach".
-
Chapter II, in the main section on "The Houses of Hermes", first paragraph: "It is not possibly to join those houses later." "possibly" should be "possible".
-
Chapter II, in the section on "House Bonisagus", first paragraph: "...and Conciatta, who extended Hermetic magic to the directly affect the other supernatural powers..." "to the directly affect" should be "to directly affect".
-
Chapter II, in the section on "Molesting the Faeries", only paragraph: "Faerie places are good vis sources, so few magi have been willing to argue that charging into a faerie area, spells blazing ... counts as molestation." If the intention is to say that there are those who think this is okay, then it should be either "a few" or "some", otherwise the sentence is saying that few magi would think this was okay, implying most would think it was NOT okay. It's a matter of emphasis.
-
Chapter II, in the section on "Regional Tribunals", second paragraph: Only the 5th edition Tribunal books are listed. Why not all of them?
-
Chapter II, in the section on "The Order and Society", sub-section on "Peasants", second paragraph: "...a covenant in a remote location which keeps itself to itself might well be almost unknown..." The first "itself" should be deleted.
etc.
Is this helpful? Is it pointing out things the ArMDefED people already know?
Be well,
Don
