Separately, she will inquire of the librarian who is coordinating the texts for the covenant whether any lab text is available for a spell to see through earth, stone, and plant material. (The InTe 20 base effect, +1 mag for stone and with a He req).
Then she will be studying In vis, if there is any. (She only has a 5 so doesn't need much.)
Themmix will walk up to Balaurega "Excuse me, i didn't mean to interrupt you overseeing the building of our base, but since i was contracted for research, and with the labs still being furnished, and all, I was wondering whether I could go on an expedition to find samples for the research, that way, once the labs are complete, I can get right on it, and not wait another season."
Balaurega nods. "Certainly. May I ask where are you going and what sort of samples are you looking for? I do not ask to pry, but I want to ensure you are adequately supported and protected."
"Don't worry, I didn't think you're asking to pry. It has come to my attention, in fact, is one of the reasons I've contacted the Tremere to research, that there may be caves in the area, who might have artifacts from earlier people who believed in fertility as a power. by studying it, it might help me find the breakthroughs I need to make this work. Granted, I know that your House has a lot invested, and i would welcome whatever escort you think I need to safeguard me, and to make sure this venture is a success."
Balaurega laughs. "It's funny you should say that, I have requested a spell to help me in magically searching for caves and underground anomalies. I meant it to survey this valley, and to find dragons' lairs, but it seems it would be helpful to you as well."
Themmix smiles "Then it seems I've come at an opportune time. Any idea when that will be available? And once it is available, I'd love to get the opportunity to study it, once I've refined my ability to cast it."
"I don't know, I may have to invent it myself; and I also need to study before it will be castable. But I will share it when I have it."

They can have a lab text to you by the the time the labs are set up (which will take the standard 2 seasons)
I assumed incorrectly before so just want to confirm how much Intellego vis there is.
There was no intelligo vis assigned for the construction phase. Once construction is finished you are supplied with 20 pawns of each art, with a requirement that you keep an accounting of them. How often you deliver those reports depends on how fast you go through the vis.
