Three Cheers: Advanced Minions?

The only references to Advanced Minions that I can find in the rulebook are two references saying not to use them if it's your first time.

Is that just because Advanced Minions are complex and have several qualities?

Or is there some other rule missing about what's different about Advanced Minions?

Hi!

Advanced minions are complicated, that's all. The interactions of their multiple abilities can sometimes be confusing for new players, so we recommend that new players leave them out for the first game or two. No additional rules — sorry that was confusing.

No worries, we just left them in on our first game because we forgot to take them out. We're still learning stuff after 3 plays, but we love the game!
