Tribunal Activities

Remember that tradition has tribunal meetings during the night ?

My best idea (or I think so) for tribunal meeting was that infamous daily activity of apprentices, sort of student's ragging and mock tribunal. The youngest apprentice is the "asinus the praeco" (or whatever pun you would call him), there is also a caricature of the quaesitor, an eggtamen (egg-throwing certamen, could use cream if preferred). Alternatively, a real donkey is namedi praeco, a peacock the quaesitor... The praeco uses a bell frantically (if animal, fix it to its tail) and is supposed to shout like a donkey. Ridiculous "sigils" are used and of course, the topics of debate are a wild mockery.

The loser of egg-tamens, or perhaps the asinus, or the quaesitor (as decided by ordeal) gets to clean the mess in the afternoon...

And of course, magi know of the event (they did that at the same age), perhaps some of them watch discreetly with or without magic (no crime, as apprentices aren't magi).
However, most magi sleep during the feast.
Some too dignified magi could forbid their apprentices to take part... but those are particularly mocked, of course!
