The woman extends her hand so you can help her up. The diamonds and rubies still lie unclaimed in the cavity they were discovered within as Carlos leads the woman out of the cave.
Roberto looks at Fleur. What do you want to do with these? Cave is on your property. I suppose it is up to your discretion. I think they should be checked for vis, which would make it covenant property I suppose. If not, they are just rocks and they belong to you. I am also worried about any taint or curse, so they should be investigated magically or left alone, in my opinion
Fleur looks to Felicia "Lets grab them and test them once we are out of here.". following the cat's advice she grabs the gems, and everyone finds themselves back in the garden. The beast is there, now healed and following Roberto docilely. The second woman is also there, clinging to [strike]Roberto's[/strike] Carlos' arm, now fully healed. She smiles at [strike]Roberto[/strike]Carlos, with an entirely different sort of predatory smile...
Shouldn't she be clinging to Carlos instead of Roberto? If she is cozying up to Rob, he will try to pass her off onto Carlos.
Petrus eyes the woman suspiciously, though he must admit to himself that she's beautiful. Still, his job here was to protect, not to ogle women. "Your orders?" he asks Roberto and Fleur.
Fleur looks down at the gems "I can check these in the lab, unless you have a spell to take care of it here. Other than that we need to get Donna to make a beast dagger and decide how we can and should modify it with the dagger. I guess Carlos acn see to the young woman."
Roberto glares at Carlos, who is obviously going to be stubborn about helping the faerie lady whom was once a beast. Then he looks to Petrus.
Aid Carlos as he escorts the young lady. Pick two others and make it a whole squad.
The young woman smiles ear to ear " A whole squad of men for me? It must be my lucky day."
In summary of ending- Donna will be able to add a major virtue or remove a major flaw from the beast, or anything of lesser complexity (such as adding flaws and virtues together)
The gems are vis, 20 pawns in all.
XP I will grant 8 to all participants ( I believe the recruitment of the beast warrants this)
Fortune points:
Marko: 5
Asilano: 3
Prince of boredom: 2
Peregrine_Bjornaer:4
Trogdor:4
Hmmmm....
How about two points in Stealth, four points in Hunt, and two points in Bow?
Roberto: 2xp Leadership, 3xp Single Weapon, 3xp Parma
Others to be determined
Fleur takes 2xp in magic theory (from the rest of the season, +1 correspondence), 5xp faerie lore, 1xp leadership
For Petrus how about 3 pts in Leadership and 5 pts in Faerie Lore.
Phelippe takes 5xp in Leadership, 3xp in Faerie Lore (the reverse of Petrus!)
Bernat is technically here, but he didn't exactly contribute. Not sure whether to assign to him, or give him something else this season - he could read for a higher SQ, even with the Adventure, as it was short.
(Fleur's correspondence... that's with Spooky, isn't it? I should get Antoine set up with that too)
No, that is with Madame Farusca.
Correspondence with Farusca is begging to be a story hook. I just can't think of a good one. I can think of lots of lousy ones though
Give me time...
Someone should award Fortune to Silveroak. I cannot remember what crappy rule I wrote for deciding that. I vote that Trogdor should decide.
Right, put me on the spot.
I'd say that for a good story, silveroak deserves at least as much as the most Fortune that a player got, i.e., 5 Fortune. This story was long and fun; how about 1 more than that, or 6 Fortune?
