Wound transfer

At some point, even if it worked, this would at best temporarily close a wound until the CrCo spell expires, and may have undesirable side effect. You may as well just make a D:Sun healing apell instead because you'll need a ritual or natural healing either way. I'm not sure I'd risk grafting my wounded flesh on a dead body, even a temporary, recently dead one.

The Severed Limb Made Whole grafts a severed limb back on to restore the limb, but it’s essentially a requirement that’s only there for style; you can use the same Guideline to make a similar spell which does not require a dead limb. So, we already have an example of Hermetic magic sticking a temporarily dead bodypart back on with no ill-effect after.

This is a good example to quote, but bear in mind that you can't expect the same result from a healing ritual that restores a limb that was cut than you can expect from doing rego corpus surgery to reattach something that may now be putrescent.

Even something which has been cut off may not be dead, depending on how long ago it was cut off. Definitions of dead may vary, especially for something like a limb (in modern medical terms the measurements of beating heart, breathing, and neural activity are all out), but if you create a corpse it is most definitely dead.

More significantly you cannot transfer the wounded arm to a corpse to heal naturally while you wear a loaner.

You can’t transfer the wounded arm to heal on a corpse, yes. You should be able to CrCo a Part arm to graft onto a prepared stump. Of course, now were off topic and over in replacement.

You should also be able to transplant an arm from another person, even a very recently dead one. (As in, ‘your death shall not go in vain … I’m not sure he heard that. Get cutting.’)

I refer you to the Ingolstadt Homunculus and its creator’s followers (accounts vary).
