Note, I could be convinced to give up arguing with one's reflection if someone else wants it more, since it's no longer central to Talia's need for her LR.
For Spring, if Trimalchio is allowed to borrow Vis in advance on this year's salary he will take up Eilid's offer of doing a longevity ritual. (at his age it will cost 7 pawns, he has just received four pawns salary, so needs to borrow three more). After that it depends on whether Eilid wants a lengthy favour in return this year or not.

Speaking of trainers, some of the Covenant points I spent went towards a teacher; Philosophaei (don't correct my spelling!), Latin, Artes Liberales, even Teaching.
Took me a minute find the teacher Aodhan brought:
Magister Vermicello Rolenti (Teacher 13 build points)
The Magister is a somewhat young man, but considered to be quite brilliant and charming. He's also run afoul of something that House Verditius is quite familiar with; Vengeful Corsicans. Members of House Veriditius have agreed to protect him in return for tutoring in the finer points of Latin and Philosophaie as well as Instruction techniques. Aodhan is protecting him now since Scotland is very far away (he hopes) from the Corsiacan family he offended.
