Yup.
Loved them, especially since it answers both the "overwhelmed by magic" bit that worried JL and why it's a bad idea to hand out precious books to your apprentice (above lending it to a youth, of course).
And they're great beyond that, even. Would sure be great for Hiems.
So they will accept the ReTe as 2 for 1. So for these purposes the 24 we have in stocks is worth 48. We give them 14 pawns of that plus 2 of Rego or Terram and that covers the casting of both rituals. We still owe them 30 after that. We give them the remaining 10 pawns of the ReTe for 20 pawns and then 10 from our stocks of any kind.
I hope I didn't blow the math again; this last line gave me some hope that we might save a bit.
But saving will be good. If it comes down to it Alexei has a decent amount of vis, including Rego. So I'll head back to the thread and let's do this. I assume Alexei brought some extra ACs for just this type of thing; the two casters following him.
I've taken out the 24 pawns of ReTe chess pieces and the two Rego from the Inventory Page. Once we(you) decide which of the other ten are going to be, we can take those out, too.
Okay. For some reason, I thought he was Tria's apprentice and fostered to Ra'am. No big.
That's what I thought, too, that Tremendi didn't look right, but I know next to nothing about Latin conjugation, and this is what it has in the naming of Magi article that Arya posted in her saga.
Am I correct in thinking that Alexei's speech is made to a convocation of both all the Flambeau that showed up and of the Council of Mons Electi? And that Fiona, Laetitia, and Marcus are back from their brief excursion into Magic?
There is a time dilation, though, I think there's plenty of enough time. When Fiona, Laetitia, Marcus et. al. return to Mons Electi they've been gone for about 3 weeks. That makes it very possible to get back in time to hear Alexei's speech.
Note the time dilation happens in the giant's realm, not in the Blacksmith's realm.
Don't hate me because I'm beautiful, baby. Laetitia knows basic biological information. She's would not seek the nomination, but will accept it if foisted on her. The rest you'll have to compartmentalize.
I'm not sure of all that happened in the latest 100 pieces thread, but it seems like I'm to go visit Laetitia in Coeris? I'kk be at an airshow all day, I'll start by writing a letter.
We're crossing the timestreams again Fiona is trying to talk to Laetitia to see if she can get her to stay. Meanwhile, three days later, Laetitia is hooking up with Aristarcus.
Assuming I have the time figured right, and that's a mighty big "if," Fiona spent one week with the Blacksmith reforging herself and another three weeks (outside time) in the Land of Giants. So, all told, she's down a month total out of study time, so far? And she's probably going to spend at least a few days with Sheelagh trying to get her acclimated.
