You have done a lot of advancement and development- I want to look over what you have done but cannot find an advancement log...

I have a link called "Progression" on my character sheet page. Here is a direct link http://amfightorflight.wikidot.com/progression

You indicated you were within a decade of your guantlet- hopefully there isn't anything where we have to go back 20-30 years in your development.

okay, no. the formatting on this is all over the map, there is no way I can write formulas to analyse it, and there is way too much for me to simply go in and make manual adjustments in my spreadsheet.

I would also recommend some notes as to what your string of numbers mean since you are asking me to analyze a set of about 4 times what I will normally do- generally if someone dumps this much advancement on me at once I require them to go back and start over.

I don't know where the miscommunication was but I've never said I was within a decade of advancement. Also my formatting is pretty consistent. the columns speak for themselves but the only thing that maybe confusing is when I am inventing a spell or enchanting something I change the Source Quality Column to a Total's Column. So for example In the summer of my 53rd year I invented a ReMe spell so I had a 20+3 Mentem, 17 Re, 5 Int, 8+1 MT, 3 Aura, 3 General Quality, 7 from a Lab specialized in Spells, and a 3 from a virtue. Once I get a total in this instance 70 I subtract the spell level (35) and get a total of 35. The next column says the progress I've made 35/35 and so the notes says it is invented

The columns is full of equations because I wanted to show how the math worked out. Then I showed what it was spent on and the increased total. You can see the progression through the columns

When I asked if everything was within a decade you indicated that it was- and i spelled out for you at that point in time that I wanted to handle advancement a decade at a time.
In terms of your formatting, I need something that can be parsed by excel, not just read by a human, and i need to be able to understand when i look it over how you came to what you have. Your formulas are useless for scanning to excel and you aren't even consistent on which column your gained experience is in.
Now we can discuss why you don't think the issues I raise are valid until someone else finishes their character and your winds up on the back burner of the game, or you can work on the documentation and communication that should have happened from the beginning- I was honestly under the impression that you were doing your research directly out of gauntlet and I'm frankly more than a little upset about this situation.

I searched for decade or anything in that vain within this forums and found that I said nothing of the sort. The only thing that can think of is when I said I had my character to a point in his progression that I think is good enough to start working on this virtue. I can change the formatting to work in excel but the only reason why the column for XP gained is not consistent is within spell inventing and enchanting which are unique situations. I never thought that you'd just run everything through excel since that was not my impression during this character gen. I don't know where the communication keeps failing but we both seem to always be on the wrong foot. I have tried to be clear about where I am and have keep my wiki page always up to date about where I am.

I will have them updated for excel sometime this week but until then I will pause it advancing any further

part of the issue is that I don't keep checking people's wiki pages until they mention they are ready to be checked- I would spend way too much time checking the pages of people who have done nothing at that point in time. Communication needs to be active, not an assumption that I am keeping tabs on what you are doing.
