A man walks confidently towards the front of the picture at a steady pace across an uneven landscape (tuffets of grass, bushes, copses of trees, small hills etc.). He is following a trail of glowing footsteps into the foreground of the picture. There is an air of irrevocability about him.
In the background the terrain turns more mountainous. There looks to have been a landslide which has created a pile of rocks (covering a cave in the side of the mountain, although this isn't visible as the cave is entirely covered over).
Guernicus is dressed in simple robes without augmentation - brown or dark grey. His face is stern and focussed on his quarry. He wears a bag of slingstones at his belt, and a silver crucifix hangs from his neck. On one side he wears a sword, and from the other hangs a small pair of scales.
[Guernicus is somewhat tricky, because the things his House are primarily known for (being Quaesitors, Intellego Magic) are somewhat different from the things he is known for (Terram magic and being highly cynical and pessimistic about the future of the Order). I've tried to sort-of-square the circle by showing him using an Intellego Terram spell (and including the cavern where he sealed the murderer of his master in the background), but I'm not entirely happy with it.
In practice he should probably have shield grogs, but I'm not sure they wouldn't subtract from the picture in this case.]
