Aging Table (p. 170): On the Crisis sub-table, it states that "all rolls are stress."
Does this mean that all Crisis Rolls should be made using a stress die (i.e., no botch)?
If so, does this also imply that the formula for calculating the Crisis total needs to be adjusted?
Simple die are rolls that you read the value directly. Strees die are rolls that can botch or explode (AM5e 6). People occasionally refer to stress die with no botch dice, such as routine use of mastered spells, as 'quality die' but that isn't an official term.
However, I believe the errata is refering to "Stamina roll of X+ or CrCoY to survive", noting that that stamina roll has a chance of botching, and the formula for crisis total still uses a simple die.
