One major reason would be simply denial by White Wolf. WW never gave Atlas right to compete with World of Darkness. Due this the attempt to do something out of Ars period might have caused problems.
On the other hand, Atlas has done a superb job detailing hte Mythic Europe setting - and it definitely needed that. It contained enough details to fill.
Quick question... I've made a Hermetic Magus pledge, which includes access to Add-Ons and Digital Freebies. What exactly are these add-ons and freebies I'll have access to?

I was wondering if the PDF of the rough layout has been sent to backers. And, if so, where should I find it, as I cannot for the life of me see where I should be downloading it from.
I got a link in an email titled "Ars Magica Early Bird Reward." It's not a pdf; it's a collection of .docx files that appear to be the submitted manuscript, so no layout formatting.
