One idea for enchanted clothing is crocodile shoes of swimming.(they allow the wearer to swim at his/her normal walking speed)maybe with retractable flippers in them?

Maybe you could put the silks into some sort of shirt or robe?
My character wouldn't, but seems about right for others.
How about a enchanted stone hat that protects your internal organs from harm?(sort of a item that might improve your "natural magic resistance",sorry not sure how else to put this)
Or a jewel... what does corpus i always forget... that has Intellego Corpus to detect the wearer's health, then Creo Corpus to regrow any organ recently harmed.
