I don’t think I have seen any reference to kratt in any of the published canon.
If any saga wants to give a Estonian hedge witch a surprising ability.

I searched YouTube for the movie mentioned in the Wikipedia article. Now I am wondering if the Wikipedia article was written by somebody who watched this. (the bit after the wolf)
I think I like the explanation of the false god granting someone a construct for sinful purposes better than using Automata.
Oh! I’ve seen November. The Kratt in that are really fun, and I love that they’re not really explained, just part of the landscape. (I bounce off the film for other reasons but that’s neither here nor there.)
This also seems like a way less high-tech-feeling version of Automata, which I think works better in a more low-fantasy saga.
Agreed, I should have used another word than “automata”. But what? They are not exactly a golem.
After watching that movie, I am wondering if it is not so much the devil responsible for animating a kratt, but a Faerie impersonation of the devil animating the Kratt with a Faerie spirit/glamour.
Oh no, I think Automata is a good word; if I was putting this in the game I’d use the rules for Automata here. Though if you’re using “Hay and farm implements” you then it’d probably have way less Mythic Pounds to count for its Might. It wouldn’t be hard to say “Faerie/Infernal Might” instead of “Magic Might” and that the Faerie has to expend a few points or that they come from the blood sacrifice, probably fairly low.
