Character concept: The Verditius Farmer ^_^

as all of you probably well know, "RPG" a has a very different meaning for us and for the general populace, who only knows computer and console games (I only use "RPG" for pen and paper games).
Being quite influenced by DnD, these usually have specific mechanics ( xp, levels..) but even DnD is different from what most people know: MMORPGs, in that, in video games, which often have a level cap, gear may be the most critical part of a character, with whole "builds" revolving around some particular item. This, in turn, leads to players "farming" a zone, in the hope to get the right item.

Where am I going?
I was reading HOH: MC the other day, more specifically the Verditius Inner Mystery Bind Magical Creatures, which, among other things, lets a mage bind a creature's power o his Gift. I've always loved this mystery, in that it can give "superpowers" , and allow the mage to do things s/he couldn't normally do.
Thing is, "he may only bind one power from one creature".

Thus, ladies and gentlemen, I give you a new character concept, in order to, maybe, interest your children (or other youths in your family) in Ars Magica, by giving them something they understand: the Verditius Farmer!
This is someone who'll seek and hunt magical ( or maybe faerie) creatures, in order to collect as much different, and cool, possibly non-hermetic, powers as possible :star_struck:

There's just one little bit: Crafter of (form) and Master of (form) are very interesting and useful powers, potentially making the character a great spontaneous mage. Likewise with other "variable cost" powers.
But how does it work?
I'd say binding such a power from a magical creature permanently lowers its Magic Might by 5 times the Maximum Might cost necessary for using the power.
Otherwise, you can't bind 2 powers which have the same name, even if these come from different creatures. So, more farming

(Please, do not try this at home, I hate the whole "monster loot" idea, and its derivatives . This is just supposed to be fun :grinning:)

Is his name cinis ketchum and his pater professor quercus?
