Whichever you prefer. There is nothing wrong with a concept being exceptional in some way. In fact I tend to think any good concept should be exceptional in some way, it is just a matter of what specific way for each concept.
Think of your point allocation also as a statement as to what sorts of stories most interest you and what you want it to say about the character.

- Despite the gift managed to have a Social Childhood, thanks to his communication attribute.
- Spent additional 3 years of his early life developing Etiquette, Awareness and some Intrigue.
- Typical Tytalus apprenticeship, cut short when he decided to flee and start his Macgnimartha earlier.
- XP goes half to Arts and half to achieve the minimum recommended ability scores (Artes LIberales, Latin, Magic Theory, Parma). In practical terms he only learned the Parma Magica recently, after finishing his Macgnimartha.
- Spent another three years roaming the land, improving his Persona and Intrigue, learning some Gaelic and Area Lore, and developing his network.
