Nice basic layout. A curse of slander being considered little more than a mounted thug, too forceful in all situations, seems adequate. It fits nicely with uncontrollable strength.
To boot, the Curse of Slander motivates Roland to stay at Triamore, where it is mitigated.
A Pious knight with that Curse might hence pose a nice challenge to Triamore covenant leaders. They need to play the political game (Prince-Bishop, Count of Namur, Emperor-to-be, ...) without getting affected by any fallout of his Curse, and without taking the cue from his name (Roncesvalles ) and sacrificing a well-meaning hero.
Very Good.
