In an Ars setting, who would be Dr Evil? Damhain-Allaidh?
Sadly, the peacock feathers only emit laser light after being dyed multiple times and then energized with a light source – the peacocks themselves won’t be blasting away with tail-feather lasers. (probably a good thing; peacocks are pretty aggressive.)
However, for Ars Magica that’s the perfect justification for a big Shape & Material Bonus!
