At the moment you are in "heavy weather" territory, but the fact it sprang up in less than a diameter and seems to still be increasing doe not bode well. With mundane senses you can make out long slender serpentine bodies, you can't see the full length of them as their coils undulate past but they are between 2 and 3 feet in diameter, and you can spot flecks of silver gold and glinting purple scales go past, suggesting there are at least 3 of the beasts below you.
