When you release the rabbit it talks "Thank you so much kind sir, or I am afraid my family would not last the winter without my support. I found this earlier, I'm not sure what it is for, but you ight find it useful" And the rabbit hands you a piece of a broken mirror before it hops away. The path is now apparent before you, and goes around a rock and into a small cave that was not apparent before- you have to crawl to get in, but once inside there is room to stand, though it is rather dark, (Level 2 Faerie aura/regio)
Vallju will volunteer to go first, so if there's any danger ahead, he'd hold it of for these magic people. He had no grasp of some of the words they used, but he trusted them.
Hugh follows, and when he sees it's dark, he says, "Vallju, let me assist you - anyone else need help?" After waiting a moment for suspensions of Parmas, with a few words, he touches Vallju's shoulder and grants the group better vision. He repeats the process for himself.

The cave continues back and becomes wider, until you find yourself on the shore of an underground lake so wide you cannot see the other side, and where it laps against the shore patterns of frost have formed upon the rocks.
Expecting that they must cross the water to continue, Hugh examines the shore for signs of a boat, or some means of calling one. "Anyone see a way to cross? Maybe we'll have to make a boat..."

Vallju looks around, surveying all the area that he can, both for ways to cross the water, and for any dangers he might notice.

The lake responds to the question "There is a boat on the far side, I can fetch it, if you will promise to do me a favor."
Valiju notices that there are fish in the lake, and they appear to be salt water fish.
Vallju is about to tell these magic people about the fish, but when he hears the lake responding, he falls back, and is making Sami gestures to ward off evil.
Hugh replies, "What favor would you have of us?"
"I want to be sweet again, if you would remove the salt which has polluted me."
Not knowing about the fish, Hugh shrugs. "I'll give it a go, why not? If you don't mind me casting magic on you."
Assuming there is no objection, he whispers, "Sionnacliste, can you help me?" Then he begins to chant loudly and gesticulate wildly, working up a spell, and casting it on the lake with a touch.

The lake appears to each of you to be speaking in your native tongue.
The spell level will be 40, which your familiar does not assist you with, believing you are being rash and hasty.
However the lake does answer "It has been brought in by the spring which feeds me, slowly adding salt as my water evaporates."
Getting back on his feet, Vallju gets close to Hugh, and whispers to him "There seem to be salt water fish inside the lake".
As the spell affects the lake you see a fast moving wave of transformation- not at all typical of how he spell works- where it passes the water seems clearer and the fish transform from salt water fish to fresh water fish along with their water- again completely atypical of how the spell should work. You also spot a boat moving across the water towards the group without oars or sail.
