And build a flying battlesuit, because if you're going the Tony Stark route...
Not a bad result for heart problems all told!
I think I'll go straight for the red and gold suit and skip the grey one.
Woo! That's great news. Anything heart related is super scary. I'm glad it went okay.
Great news!
...and now my reprieve on updating Bernat has run out. I Solemnly Swear* that I shall update him, at least partially, tomorrow. Maaaybe even tonight.

A quick note on things previously mentioned that seem to have been over run...
- I would be interested in getting RIlcheaux into the Ancient history game
- the question of how to handle his agent development over the 5 skipped years may need to be revisited, given how slowly the relevant threads are moving...
That's a question for Roberto to address.
One thing I can say, however, is that there will certainly be some movement through the portal network that might gain some attention. Rilcheaux wouldn't have to spy to notice that.
Glad you ae feeling better
I, however, am stressed out beyond belief. My town has gone crazy with cray baseball playoffs and I work in a prominant sports pub with a high volume of food service. I am so overwrought that I need to de-stress and work on this game latter. I will catch up soon.
Take a break. This will still be here once you're recharged.
I, for one, can second that.
Which town? I live in KC...
Ditto.
Marko is in Chicago. Cubs making the divisional series.... It's a big deal.
Oh, I am always chill and selfishly lazy when I want to be
I just want to alert all y'all and let you know I don't disappear. If I am not somehow posting at least once a week, I am probably in Jail
It is important to me to maintain contact because I did disappear once before, years ago. Twilight Episode.
Yeah, and it suuuuuucks* !!!!
I hate the Cubs. If they loose then everyone will be heartbroken and tear the town apart. If they win, they will set the place on fire. And lots and lots of vomit. They all turned their back on me when my team was up. White Sox are the winners in this town and them Cubbie fans have been crying ever since.
Hate the Cubs.
blah
And all night long I gotta pound out lobster nachos and flatbread pizza with the chef yelling and screaming like he's Gordon Ramsey. So I don't even get to watch the games and have a change of heart.
Wednesday was the most killer, Thursday not as bad. Tonight was a major drag and I am p'd off about the labor-prep situation. But it wasn't super hard. Tomorrow promises to be a $#!+ show.
And I thought that kitchen was hardcore for the Blackhawks. This is just the freaking playoffs and the intensity is already at that level.
@PB- you live in KC too?
No, I'm in the Austin, Texas area. The "Ditto" was commiseration and well-wishes for Trogdor. S'what i get for not quoting the post in question.
Really? I'm at ACL with my wife this weekend.

I should be able to catch up on stuff tonight and more on Thursday
This game is starting to cause me some frustration, largely in regards to Rilcheaux. I have tried to do several things with this character which were essentially simply overlooked. I have suggested and requested that he be brought in on the ancient History game, but the best suggestion so far is that he simply insert himself- because that worked so well last time. I would have expected that over the intervening years he would have gotten some familiarity with those at the covenant that someone might at least thing "Hey that Rilcheaux guy is rather slippery and has questionable ethics, he might be useful in this situation"
Secondly I have tried to address the question of building his agents in the intervening years several times, the best suggestion was to run a single advancement thread per agent, and then that was undermined first by questions about the outcome of another adventure that really were not relevant and then by questioning the threads themselves.
Thirdly Rilcheaux raised some obvious questions about the internal security of the covenant castle, questions I would think someone who is worried about countering threats which have already penetrated the defenses would be very concerned about, but his request for a meeting to discuss those weaknesses is ignored and the weaknesses themselves are handwaived into the idea of reclassifying them to exterior security, which simply would not work.
Right now I'm a bit over halfway to getting all my characters up to 1241, and wondering if it is worth the effort.
