Background:
Theodulf life was harsh since the beginning: his mother died while giving birth to him, a thing he still blames himself for.
His two older brothers where never kind to him, they mocked him, made fun of his clumsiness, they never shared a single garment or boot or nothing.
By little day to day actions, they took revenge for the life he ended.
His father could do nothing but pity him.
Theodulf still dreams his father's big eyes wide open looking at him.
No, not looking at him, but through him, in a desperate motionless research.
He knew that every time his father posed his eyes on him, he lived again his wife's last moments, then the look always turned away in a mixture of saddens and ill-concealed anger.

With the passing of years, Theodulf started fighting back, thanks to his giant blood that was beginning to show its effects.
Now the brothers were not so amused to continuously tease him, they even started sharing supper.
Maybe he was in the way he asked with more decision, or maybe it was because he now could easily lift and throw them out of the windows, either way Theodulf was eating more and growing even more.
Spaces that before seemed wide, now could not fit him and the feeling of being entrapped grew inside him.
He found himself always outside home, walking down Glouchester's streets or exploring nearby open areas.

When he was around 9 years old, something in the people made them be even more rude, there was something more then just his size and body proportions that instilled people with hatred.
He didn't start it, but surely he did not do something to stop hit, once he grabbed a cow femur and cracked the head open to the one who threw him a rotten potato.
Maybe that's how South Wales magi from the nearby covenant, The Nameless Covenant, acknowledged his existence.
Given the vulgar hostility, for the magi it was easy to recognize The Gift in him, and, even if he wasn't a good caster, soon he could craft and enchant with an uncommon ease.
Looking him at work was bewitching, such a big guy moving his hand with such a grace and precision.
He took the highest lab space he could find and almost removed completely the ceiling, he said he wanted to breath openly.
The magi let him do what he wanted because his affinity with air was clear.

Now he goes by the name of Rubellius, form house Verditius, the one that rages as quickly as he vents, like a summer thunderstorm.
Most of his enchantments are meant to protect or to quickly knock out an opponent.
Few of his gauntlets were gifted to important magi for the battlefield front lines.

During apprenticeship a magus showed interest in tracing his giant blood ancestry line, it was an hard task but he somehow managed to discover that his mother's forefathers were giant from Scotland.
Generation after generation, it seems, they slowly moved southward, gradually forgetting their ancient traditions of worshiping thunders and storms.
He promised he'll receive information from his correspondents from the north, but then Rubellius moved away after gauntlet (1011) travelling north-east with an aid war group.
Little Rubellius know about the imminent fall of The Nameless Covenant.
When news arrived, they arrived when he had more impelling stuff to do on other war's fronts, almost two years passed and he still does not know if any of his old sodales survived.

Surrounds you with winds that circle at great speed.
Since the wind picks up dust and other small, loose objects, you may be obscured.
Anyone standing near enough to attack you with hand weapon must make a Size stress roll of 9+ at the beginning of each round or be blown back.
Melee Attack rolls against you are -3, and missile or thrown attacks are -9.

Screaming the command word (mostly "Os" and "As") towards the target and punching upward the air before you activates the effect of this leather gauntlets.
Makes winds rise upward, pulling one object, creature, or person up to 50 feet into the sky before letting that target drop.
Even a small building can be torn from its foundation, though such a building can be no larger than 20 feet a side, and cannot be built out of a material heavier than stout wood.
Uprooted objects fall randomly.

The effect of this leather braces (both forearms) is activated by pointing with both open hands the target and blowing the command word.
Whips up violent, swirling winds around the target.
The target must make a Size stress roll of 9+ to remain standing.
If the target is braced or holding onto some support, he may also make a Strength stress roll of 9+.
If both rolls fail, the target is knocked in a random direction.
The target may be damaged, deepening on whether he strikes anything.
