I believe that the idea here is one casting tool per formulaic spell. Is that the accept canon? HoH: MC seems to imply the notion in several places (enchanting tools, casting spont with tools, flaw, etc.)
Justy trying to confirm the current canon on how casting tools work.
Heh. It seems to me Argentius comes next, but Aetherius is the only one that can do it by himself. With the others, it always has to be two magi, which tends to go over 10 with any combination. Happily, Lares has leadership 2.
Problem with Argentius is major pride and hubris but its a possibility.
Slightly annoying that there is like three conversations happening at the same time. But i suppose its a limitation of the format you can do nothing about.
Another format limitation was getting me out of my labs because planning a meeting in the evening works better in a real time game than it does when you need 5 posts to cover a half an hour period. shrug
I'll say this here. It starts a game badly to say "we must do XYZ or else I will leave the covenant". I for one hope we can all get along, and the last thing I want is to push anyone off the covenant over a decision, but the standard operating principle of a normal covenant is relatively democratic decision-making between equals. I'm not a fan of ultimatums, unless there's a reasonable injustice being discussed, like bulldozing someone's lab.
Am aware, but OOC, this is an attempt by her to force the covenant to make the decision she thinks is best for all involved. She wouldn't really leave.
As to the hubris and pride... I'm making the assumption that this is Argentius as newly gauntleted, not Argentius at 133 years old. That arrogance, hubris, and pride could be significant drivers to his wanting to make sure this covenant he helped found doesn't end in disaster... or that its current vulnerability spills out into a vendetta that could be 100+ years old...
In other words, I suspect he could swallow his pride to safeguard loftier goals.
