"Nerius? Nerius who? Hey wait a minute! Ale! And it's FREE!"

Nerius? Wasn't he taht drunkard that died at Fudarus a century ago

(Thus speaks the person with Nerius type character in another game)

Nerius?

Perhaps this will be revealed...

It is a name to make Flambeau, Tyralus and Flambeau of Normandy wince, scowl and cringe a little and make Criamon go 'Hmmmmm'.

I fixed a few typos on my character sheet. I've also shuffled a few characteristics around - now that I'm playing her, she comes off a little differently. Since she hasn't made any rolls yet I figured it wouldn't be a problem, but if someone objects let me know.

Also, Qcipher, I really like Barbara. She may be the first Tremere I've ever felt that way about.

And...I'm off to bed. For those in the Chicagoland area (like myself) drive carefully, it's nasty out there!

That's not much of a problem. I usually allow little character nudges to take into account different things, as long as it's done early on.

Well I'm sure she'd love to hear that. And also to find out that she's a Tremere!

Curse you, late-night posting...

Yeah, Siobhan is more Tremere than Barbara. (Siobhan is Tremere by blood though guernicus by gauntlet). She was born into the Order.

What you've taught me here is, if I say I don't know it, I get free ale. The consequences are on your head.

We'll see what your learning curve is like then!

And I'll be right there with ya.

OK soon the hob nobbing will end and I'll start the meeting. So get done what you can, I figure tomorrow the Tribunal will convene.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Bjronaer apprentices considered gauntleted when they are shifted into their heart beast at their first Ritual of Twelve seasons?

So shouldn't his master's letter be sending questions to his completion of his apprenticeship, rather then his gauntlet?

Bjornaer are considered full members of their House once they have completed the Ritual of Twelve Years. But they continue teaching the 'apprentice' (though with more respect) until the 15 years dictated by the Order is over, usually.

By the wat, Averru, should our characters have a negative reaction to yours when we meet, since you have the Hedge Magic flaw, or no?

QC, I was just wondering how much our characters know about what is in store for them. Do they even know they will be starting a new covenant? Or are they expecting to get assigned somewhere in an established covenant, or wander around looking for a place to stay perhaps?

Your characters really know nothing of what is supposed to happen. My assumption is you intend to stay in Stonehenge, the Tribunal meeting is a great place to meet and network, and possibly join a Covenant. All of you may have aspirations of forming your own covenant though.

Generally Magi do not get assigned to Covenants, though pressure of a political source can be applied that has a similar effect.

That is up to you, perhaps you're more enlightened. However you may have heard (or will hear of) the rumor that he is a Hedge Wizard. You can let that color your interactions as you will.
