Project: Redcap site maintenance, March 2025
Be it made known to all that Project: Redcap maintenance will be performed on March 30, 2025. Please note that we'll perform an “Aegis of the Wiki” ritual to prevent any community updates during the maintenance period.
The plans are to implement updates and enhancements to the site. Example updates include extensions that make it easier to organize content in methods that are not currently available; such as, using Project: Redcap as a publishing hub — a one-stop shop for the Ars Magica community to develop new open-licensed content for Ars Magica. This follows the announcement that previously published ArM content will be community-licensed. So, we’re asking you, the ArM community, for your enhancement requests to Project: Redcap.
Please submit requests in the “Change Proposals” section of the Community Portal page. Submissions will be accepted through March 16, 2025. Then we’ll review submitted requests and plan for the implementation of the updates during the weekend of March 30, 2025. Use the discussion section of the Community Portal page for any questions you may have about this effort.

Please be aware that Project: Redcap is undergoing maintenance and is in "read only" mode. The capability to edit pages is not currently available.
During this maintenance two new extensions will be added to the site and extend Project: Redcap's capabilities for organizing content and better serving the needs of the Ars Magica community:
- JsonConfig - requested by user for improved content organization
- CentralNotice - allows site-wide banners
Thank you for your patience and understanding as the venerable Project: Redcap wiki undergoes these maintenance procedures. I'll inform you through the usual channels (Atlas Games forums and the ArM discord server) when the maintenance is complete.

Salve, Sodales -
Let it be made known that Project: Redcap maintenance is completed. The JsonConfig was successfully installed. However, a decision was made after exploring CentralNotice capability further that we would not install it. The absence of the CentralNotice extension does not affect any existing or future user created pages on Project: Redcap. It is something we'll explore further to see if it will meet the needs of the community.
Feel free to once again explore Project: Redcap and report any bugs by posting to the Community Portal page: https://www.redcap.org/page/Project_Redcap:Community_portal
Thank you again for your patience and understanding while we performed this requested maintenance update.
