Good point. He will push things and work a third season this year, as a favor to the magi, but with the understanding he'll only do one next year. He will be on the lookout for anyone exhibiting evidence of a supernatural virtue that would allow them to work in an aura - he still wants an apprentice.
What is the final SQ for Tayma teaching Latin in Winter 1220? I"m not sure how many students she ended up getting.
That is part of the point of the seasonal chart, right now there are 3 students, so the SQ is 10
My (revised) plan was for Tayma to teach non-Gifted people while Soot, and Terra learn Latin from the Walking Atlas. That would be SQ 17, or 9 (8?) for Terra because of injury and 22 for Soot due to Apt Student. So here are the revised plans:
Soot - Learn Latin from the Walking Atlas
Terra - Heal up, spend 7 days setting up a portable laboratory if one is available. Learn Latin from the Walking Atlas and provide Parma to Soot and the Atlas
Terra - Heal up. Gain two points of warping from the big healing bonus spell. How many botch dice on a roll to heal?
Tayma - Teach Latin, to anyone who wants it. She provides a SQ of 15, 18 or 21 depending on how many students she has. 4 (com) +3 (teaching) +5 (good teacher) + 3 (base) + 0/3/6 (1/2/3+ students)=15/18/21. +1 to children due to specialty.
Tayma - She gets a bonus season because of her lack of fatigue. Practice experience in concentration. (2xp). She tries to sleep, or at least fake it.
Orphan Mary - Its her nominally free season, get training from Hakima in the fine art of apocotherying. 8xp.
Hakima - Work at the apothecary generating 24 labor points. Lose 36(?) points for the year. Get 2 exposure xp unless she hits an adventure.
I really hope all that made sense. The two questions I really have are how many botch dice does Tayma need to roll and does Hakima lose a full 36 labor points this year?
Presently I think Kawthar and Ahmed have declared a desire to study Latin in Winter 1220 (aside from Soot and Terra). I'm not sure if anyone else is interested.
I would assume some of the generic unnamed servants would actually, but ultimately troupe/council call. Terra won't care enough, and Tayma just wants to "earn her keep".
I find it likely that Vita might grant Terra Apt Student for the season if she was studying under Tamya.
Tomas will suggest to Cheech that Henri could use the help in learning Latin. (Tomas figures a good assistant will help keep patients out of his hair.)
assuming you are taking care of the wound and in a healthy location, 1 botch die.
Well, my ploy to get an easy virtue is blowing up in my face.
What happens when you botch a healing roll anyway?
infection, plus the wound worsens a category. Start with a minor disease infection, which means a weekly roll to recover stamina+medicine(of provider)+corpus bonus-wound penalty+1 (living conditions) versus an ease factor of 6. The disease also imposes a -1 penalty to your recovery rolls for the wounds.
for clarity, I want everyone to have posted plans for every character on the activity planner well past the current story date- it is useful for a number of things including what to do with your character if you get ambushed by real life.
Well, for winte, since the next few stories are likely to focus on setting up the covenant ressources, I think I will craft a magical item to help with that. Maybe something to make it move faster or protect it from fire, something to do with rego anyhow.
please be sure to include this on the activities chart under player resources
Anyone who is studying Romany in a free season gets a SQ of 8 for it being the local native language.
Some more healing checks. First one, is for the newly acquired infection. Second, is for the newly worsened now medium wound. Last one is for the final light wound. Since Terra should still have access to that fancy healing super boost, she'll use that and get three (!) warping points. On that note, these rolls are a bit ominous... 666. Eep!
Bam! Filled out the activity sheet for winter.
When you fill out the activity planner, please go back to when the character joined the covenant...
Ok I finally got around updating the advencement table. I wasn't sure about the source qualities, so I left them blank.
JP -
I see that you listed making magic items for the boat for Winter 1220, do you want Julia to help with that? If so she can gain exposure in Magic Theory without losing XP due to her magic might.
her Int+Inventive Genius would add 5 to your lab total.
