The flight of Frederic doesn’t look good at all. He starts with a horizontal move alt low speed moving a bit shaky. The way down is fast and trundling he is struggling at the moment his feet touching the ground.

Frederic picks up the sun stone and slowly moves over to the exit.

Garcin will cross himself. ""This is a graveyard; we should not desecrate it, whether or not it has received the blessings of the Lord."

“We will act with care and respect! Please check for Aura and Vis. I wonder why here so many corps. If this would be a graveyard I would expect the crabs should have eaten most of them already. Or recently many of them died at the same time“

Frederic doesn’t feel well due to the exhausting spell casting. So he will think for an excuse to rest:
“I will try to scan the area for ghosts. This will require some time of concentration. You will keep watch while I sit down on this rock and meditate for a moment.”
If Fredric has recovered he will check the exit in more detail.

Garcin will gulp nervously before crossing himself again, "G-ghosts?" He'll look around nervously before checking aura and vis. He knows these corpses were not consecrated.

After some long diameters of resting:” I can´t detect any Ghosts. I will have a short look what´s behind that exit over there. Do you any experience in breathing water? I assume you can swim?”
Frederic peals out of his chain mail and places it on a crab save spot together with his shield close to the point they landed.
“By the way, just in case these cops start moving over to us….I don´t think they will… But if they do, don´t stab, cut. Best is to separate the head.” After a short pause he adds: "I can cast a spell that allow you to breathe under water”
Frederic casts formulaic “Lungs of the Fish on himself”(Level 15): CT 21 + die (9) =30

Afterwards he casts the formula on Garcin and then moves over to the submerged exit
Lungs of the fish for Garcin (Level 20): CT 21 + die (5) = 26

Frederic will dive, check if the exit is passable and swim through if there is no obvious danger.

The exit is narrow, but only goes back about 4 feet before emerging upwards into another cavern- this one only 3 feet high.
The graveyard has no vis or aura.

Garcin can swim, but has no desire whatsoever to submerging himself in death-water. He's rapidly losing his enthusiasm for this particular adventure.

Is there any exit in the small cavern? Does the water has a detectable current?

"I'm afraid foxes don't swim," Vulpus replies. "Or at least this fox doesn't swim."

The water has no discernable current, but it apparently rises and falls with the tides based on the marks on the walls. You would have to crawl through the second cavern on your belly to see if it has an exit.

Frederic checks crawlingly if there is another exit. “Just one moment I want to be sure this is a dead end before we head back to the others.”

OCC: As far as I know the Mediterranean Sea has no tide.

It does have tides, but they are very small. I just checked tides for today and there is about a .9 foot difference between high and low tide. No surfing for us!

The cave extends for several hundred feet before sloping back downwards and finally there is an exit into the sea, the distance between the cave ceiling and the ocean at the exit is about 2 inches, but the floor extends a good 2 feet below the water. Crawling it takes over an hour to get to the exit.

“I can just hope for the patience of the others. Bu now I came so far I have to check if I can find a landmark or a formation of the coast that allows us to find this entrance from sea side.”
Frederic will swim out far enough to get a good view on the coastline or find a landmark. He often looks back to the cave entrance to be sure to find it on his way back. He also checks the seabed for points that my help to orientate. After he gets an Idea where the entrance is he swims back.

Nicolae will stay silent for alone at the top of the chasm, and then fly down as a bat. He will then transmform back into his regular adventuring self, i.e., stark naked, and go see Garcin, sensing his unease.

"Hey don't worry Garcin, if there were in ghosts here, I would probably have noticed it. But it is your lucky day, except for magi, there is nothing to be afraid here. Do you want to have a chat with the crabs while we wait for Flavius ?"

Nicolae will try to cheer up Garcin further:

"You had some crabs before I assume, probably with butter, or whatever way you eat it back in Iberia. Just relax, they were doing the same thing here, just having a snack; well, maybe without the butter. There was nothing unnatural going on here; just eat or be eaten. Anyway, let's find out what they know about the bodies and the caves. Want to come ? "

Nicolae will move towards the crabs and then use animal ken to communicate with the crabs.

"Greetings crabs, with mighty pincers. You look like you are having a great day, with all that food laying around there. I was wondering if you could tell me where it comes from. I am also curious about what you know about theses caves. I've been told that there are crabs with stone pincers in a cave not to far. Would you happen to know them ?"

Garcin looks at Nicolae in disgust. "There may be no ghosts here, but there are decaying bodies dripping their rotting flesh and black fluids into the very water we swim in. And the magi propose desecrating these corpses more. I would hope that when I die my remains are treated with more honor than we show the people of the caves.

The crabs reply "We find food, we eat food. It is strange that this food is not baking in the sun, but it is plentiful. We do not ask where it comes from, where does our food ever come from?"

Nicolae, to Garcin:

"The crabs are not desecrating the corpses. Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As man, whose God as given dominion over nature, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling crab to the leaping rabbit."

You'll tell me : But, Nicolae, don't we eat the crabs?

Yes, Garcin, but let me explain. When we die, our bodies become meat, and the crabs eat the meat. And so we are all connected in the great Circle of Life."

Nicolae turns towards the crab again:

"Any interesting things in the caves ? You must know quite a bit about them. Are there any predators down there ? Special places ? Do you crabs have a leader ? "

OOC: Sorry could not resist.
