Summer 1229- The tribunal meets

You mean aside from the fact that it is a 2 day journey from the covenant to the inbox?

That's a doable journey once every two weeks

Which is still a 2 week delay on healing, aside from however long it takes the first redcap to get the message to the dropbox (which is, at least, in a high traffic area). In addition at 4 days travel (2 each way) every 2 weeks during your off seasons means you are loosing about 26 days each season, which will impact whatever you are trying to do during that time- it would count as 1 month of interruption for any seasonal activity.

Might be, but much better than a full Season.

I believe I added this after you responded.

Am aware it will impact her studies, but it's a way to earn sorely needed Vis.

Guida has a 3 use per day / item maintains concentration Mercury's Winged Sandals effect in her boots. At maximum speed, this flight effect can hit 40 miles per hour. The covenant is 50 miles away from the Inn. She has a fairly good Finesse skill, enough to achieve moderate speed most of the time, and the spell explicitly allows for rerolls to increase speed, with a 40% chance to hit maximum speed at her current stats. I'm guessing that, most of the time, the trip takes less than two hours for her unless she really wants to walk.

As long as she travels by night, it's over 50 miles (50 miles just covers the north/south axis) and on foot it is also very windy- the tribunal secrecy rules would prevent you from flying by day where you might be seen (or at lowish altitudes near human settlements, even at night), but yes, this would allow you to make that round trip within a night.
Obviously she won't be getting much in the way of critical healing jobs this way, but there are people who will send a message for less time critical healing.

So the rule of secrecy covers using magic where you might be seen? Okay, good to know. Sounds like I'm going to have to invest in memory wiping spells.

Anastasia will stay to socialize with magi after the last vote at the Tribunal, trying to learn who's who, as well as make acquantainces that she could have an interest to correspond with.

You are the new kids and this is a target rich environment for developing correspondences. Everyone may select 5+pres topics of correspondence and will be able to meet someone to correspond on those topics. Whether correspondence is maintained over time will be seen as things play out. These do have to be appropriate topics of correspondence to what would be likely to be found for the group... single weapon for example, is very unlikely.

Elia's top topics will be:
Creo
Corpus
Medicine
Code of Hermes
Herbam

Kriegeist is going out of his way to cultivate the acquaintance of the maga in furs, as well as meeting as many people as he can. He's a social butterfly at gatherings of magi. He also tries to learn if there are any tribunal issues other than encroaching divine auras, that just didn't come up officially.

M. Theory
M. Lore
D. Lore
F. Lore
Creo
Intellego
Muto
Rego
Perdo
Vim

1st thing- everyone get 8 xp from the adventure.

There was not a lot of room for anyone to really shine to gain confidence- everyone gets one for success in being accepted to the tribunal, Elia gets a point for effectively selling her services, even if orders have not started yet.
Anastasia and Kriegest each get one for the participation in the divine aura debate.

Kriegest manages to make the acquaintance of the maga who asked if he was single, (Lucia of Jerbiton) who agrees to correspond in creo, the woman in furs is Gwendalyn of Tremere, and will correspond in rego. He also manages to win the entirety of everything he bid on in the auction, the boy- Maximus of Jerbiton- would like to get his longevity ritual next winter.

Beyond the details of the first post talking about a manor house in a large valley, where was the tribunal hosted at? Is this a covenant's location, or just a temporary meeting spot which was warded for the event?

It is a covenant.

Was there any sort of codified peripheral code available to read/memorize? Or if not, might Kriegeist have asked the Quaesitor about the rules regarding vis sources and who can claim what?

I didn't think of it in time, but Kriegeist is a lot smarter than me. But he can also ask by letter if necessary.

There are tractatus and summae available to concentrate your code of Hermes Lore on the tribunal of the greater alps...
The rules on vis claims would be several pages- do you have a more specific question?

Basically Kriegeist is trying to figure out if there's something like a boundary around each covenant within which vis is theirs, akin to the "one day's travel" rule in Normandy. Contemplating a ritual to harvest vis en masse.

There have been claims about another covenant claiming vis too close to another covenant, and a rough guideline of claiming that which is within sight of the topmost landing, battlement, or balcony" where such guidelines do not overlap one another.
