My thought is that Vocis does it himself, with a one shot boost from papa's ghost. There is a broken supra-munchkin power on page 38 of RoP: Magic called "Grant Puissance in (Ability)". For every Might point invested, papa can give one man a +3 bonus to a specific Total or Ability. Papa can improve someone's CrVi total (or Magic Theory ability) just barely high enough to open the girl's Arts and retain supernatural virtues. That was papa ghosts one and only unresolved purpose in the afterlife, so once this is done his spirit is at rest and goes away.
Just an idea
How does this level 15 power work? Looking at base guidelines, MuCo30 turns a human to an insubstantial object (Auram req), and PeCo40 can destroy (remove) the property of solidity.
What can base 15 do?
We're working on a different story. In its current form, Vocis stayed at her father's covenant during his third cycle while dealing with the Albigensian Crusade. The father, being a creepy Tremere necromancer, was having a hard time relating to his daughter. Vocis, being a doting father and grandfather, was able to befriend her and help out Necro Dad. They continued corresponding and Vocis visited regularly. In 1228, Vocis spends two fruitless seasons looking for an apprentice and returns to find the girl on his doorstep. Necro Dad opened her Arts with the intention of training her himself, but he died shortly thereafter in a horrific necromantic accident. Because the rest of his covenant sodales are also creepy necromancers, Ghost Dad guided her to Uncle Vocis to continue her training. There will be some kind of document (or something) 'willing' her to Vocis in the event of Necro Dad's death (or Ghostification), but I haven't gotten to the details yet.
If you look at the Orphan Born in RoP:M, it's described there. Basically she can touch spirits when she is flesh or touch objects if she's incorporeal.
Hey all, I finally got around to posting my post-gauntlet Guernicus for your perusal. Please give me some feedback if you have any, and then I'll work on getting my cycles up.
I'd certainly be up for it, but considering I have a familiar, an apprentice, and three personal grogs, adding a white wolf would probably be too much. At that point I might as well get my own theme music.
OK, since things look good, I have one question: should I interpolate to figure out apprenticeship experience to now, or should I just do exposure experience and teaching experience based on her Vicis's seasons? The latter is far easier, but I'm very comfortable with math and can do the interpolation well.
