Arnau would like to join the leadership class as well in spring. In the other seasons he will travel to Mallorca (summer) to be initiated into Animal Ken by one of the leaders of the Flame Brothers . He then plans to bind a large dog as a familiar (he has been educating several of them as options) in Autumn and practice some Animal ken afterwards with him in Winter.
Since I'm not sure what magus he is being assigned to, Bartholomew will take the spring class as well...presumably summer and fall are exposure experience...
Leadership is in Spring. Combat (Single Weapon) is in Summer and Fall. I will give a little leeway. Participation in either combat class allows you to fight in a trained group with others who have taken either class. Xavi, you are already trained to fight with your own soldiers, but neither you nor they can form a group with anyone else if you guys skip this class.
If Leadership is being taught in the Spring, Lucas would like to attend the class.

What is the quality and top level on the single weapon classes? Most specifically if you are at 5 will the class be able to raise it (or at least help towards raising it)? If so Bartholomew would pick summer instead.

Nope, as it stands right now, we are only planning things through Winter of 1235 with the City of Brass expedition beginning in Spring of 1235.
Fausto's quality is 14 xp (for 3 or more students) and his Single Weapon level is 8. For Leadership, it's quality 13 and his max level is 4.
Could Bartholomew take both the summer and fall classes? Then add one season exposure and he's up to 6 in his single weapon ability...
Okay, fall gives 14 xp in single weapon, he will spend his free season exploring the covenant for 5 points in area lore covenant of Andorra, exposure puts 1 point each into carouse, single weapon, profession:soldier, and area lore covenant of Andorra.
I'm still a little hazy on exposure xp. Can someone give me a general explanation?
Exposure XP is 2 XP earned when you are doing something else during a season that generally doesn't garner XP any other way (like adventuring, practice, learning from a teacher, learning from a book, etc).
So, for example working in your lab for an entire season doesn't garner any XP for the action of working in your lab. Instead, you gain 2 Exposure XP relevant to your lab activity (typically Magic Theory or the arts being worked with).
That's what I thought. And you can get 5-7 xp in Area Lore by wandering around the area (depending on how widely you can range), or 5 pts for practicing a language.

I assume Silveroak was looking at the exposure XP over two seasons. So one season learning weapon skill, one season "practicing" area lore for 5 xp, and two seasons to get the 4 xp distributed between carous, single weapon, profession:soldier and area lore.

I think Fausto's Teaching total is miscalculated. I count Com +1, Teaching 4 (Single Weapon), and Good Teacher. That totals only 9, with the base of +3, that equals only 12 and not 14.
And Arnau, this Mystery Initiation you are planning. I am letting it slide this time, but it is being handled to casually. Who is the mystygogue? What are the ordeals and quests and sacrifices? Where did you get the script from? What is your cult lore score? What do you owe them in return?
In the future, this sort of stuff should be role played out. Animal Ken and a witch familiar are not deal breakers at all.I just don't want to set a bad precedent.
