Repost the character and data in a clean new thread. that is just your page. If anyone posts on it i will clip and move it. A lot of people also have a separate development thread. You did it here, which is just fine by me. Seems the natural thing to do. I can use my moderator powers to clip that together out of this. Dont worry about it.
The wiki is optional. It is more important we have the main record here.
I just noticed that in winter 1237 both Lucas and I are planning on reading the Corpus Hermeticum...
I do and I don't. Meaning I discourage it as needlessly complex, yet I am interested to see the results. While going over ideas on how to modify pay rates I realized I was being to cheap with silver (our single biggest resource).
Well, I would probably be considered understaffed at the moment- I have myself, Donna, Lucia and Epona (I have down as servants), 4 anonymous laborers, 1 teamster, his horse, and Yenni which I have down as "other", total expenses are 21 lbs of silver and the laborers cut that down by the same 4 pounds they cost. She probably needs to recruit a couple of grogs as household security, or she needs to start creating some magical defenses (or both), but so far it hasn't been much of an issue... it isn't like people expect individual houses to have military defenses...
I currently have a cost of 3 pounds for her lab - it has an upkeep of 2, 8.5 pounds (before labor reduction) in provisions, 3.4 pounds in consumables, 1.7 pounds in building maintenance, 3.4 pounds in wages and 1 pound in writing materials.
Thread created for her including sheet, summary, character history (language not yet polished), and open questions.
I still have to re-edit Miguel so his sheet looks like a standard sheet.
I'll be away from my books for the weekend.
Epona's actually part of the guard, unless you want her to be your shield grog. Is Lucia going to be taking over as Fleur's chambermaid when Vibria leaves?
Fleur hadn't recruited a chambermaid at the point when Vibria's tower blew, so she offered the two ladies a place to live. If Epona is part of the guard then presumably that falls under the covenant's dime and Fleur will have recruited another servant since then. Then Vibria departed so she went ahead and took Lucia as her own chambermaid.
Actually if I could find stats on her I would be fine with taking Epona as a shield grog... I can add that to the expenses...
Voila!
And Lucia is here.
What game date were they last updated?
Lucia is current as of Winter 1234; Epona, as of Summer 1235. I always put the current season as the first line under Information, just so I can tell if they need updated or not.
Sorry, I meant they're current as of the beginning of those seasons. I hadn't done anything for them for Winter 1234 or Summer 1235, respectively.

Is finesse affected by the aura a character is in?
Nope.
By the way, while Arachné is suited as a mistress to an apprentice, she isn't interested. Children...
She'll love Cata's husband, though. He's got wonderful potential. Although... Cata and her overlap slightly, which is nice. I think they can have a nice buddying relationship, and Cata's presence potentially frees her somewhat to concentrate on other purposes.

Since both her dress and her body are range personal, could she change them both with one illusion effect?
Yes, or at least hide.
This has advantages and disadvantages, but would also nicely ease my pains regarding Disguise of the New Visage. Go for it!
What would it take for Donna to convert her organization lore (weaponsmith guild) into an initiatory lore? She is wanting to eventually be able to give touched by magic to her apprentices...obviously at some cost since they are not gifted...
I'm going to pass the buck and let Fixer handle that.
Well...
Basically, initiations use Organizations Lores... But not every Organization Lore has the mystical knowledge you'd need.
For example, the knowledge of the Order of the Really Ancient Magical Secrets may contain the knowledge about how to initiate Affinity with Vim, but the knowledge of your local shoemaker's guild has nothing mystical at all.
Richard Love explains this better than I could here:
https://forum.atlas-games.com/t/mystery-cult-expansions/8755/33
Mind you, even among authors, I believe there are divisions about MC, in that some (like, IIRC, Timothy Ferguson) wanted them to be more mystical and "special", whereas others are more on the side of "Any MC can initiate any virtue" (which gave us the Children of Hermes).
I couldn't see Donna change her mundane Organisation Lore into a mystical one, since it has nothing mystical to begin with. It can't help her in any way, since it only consist in, say, knowledge that your fellow guildmate Robert here is married with children, and that the guild hangs out every 2 weeks. It's like saying "How can knowledge of my workplace can give me insights into religion", if you want.
Since she is trying to do something new, that didn't exist before, she's essentially devising her own cult, not unlike what Fortunata did in Legends of Hermes. She can later try to pass that on her guild, trying to have her lore become the new lore. But her guildmates would have to begin from 0 too.
I figured she would likely begin with whatever social rituals her guild has as a starting place, kind of like transitioning the masons from a guild about masonry to an organization about mystical rituals...
Thing is, this has no mystical value at all, so I fail to see how this can help.
See my above analogy with the workplace: You may know Microsoft's organigram and business practices in and out, this won't help you answers questions about the hereafter.
About horses (and other animals) speed, I've always found this site to be immensely useful:

Then we now get into an issue I really should have resolved a long time ago - The Silent Conversation. This is a Cr(In)Me 30 spell that Vocis learned as his primary means of two-way mental communication. Unfortunately, it's a Grimoire spell that the troupe has determined isn't designed quite right. I think the conclusion was that it's a magnitude short as written, so Vocis would need to boost it to level 40 to cast it at AC range. Difficult, but possible. Before I do, I want to make sure we're ok with me using my vague memory as a temporary fix.

I get 35 with arcane range, but I was working from InMe base 15 and not including the "elaborate effect" so 40 works fine for me
As far as I can tell, that's actually a little higher :-/:
In(Cr)Me 40
Base 15 (the higher base, to read someone's surface thoughts), +3 sight, +1 conc, +1 creo requisite (clearly enhances the effect so this isn't a free requisite)
Pushing this to AC range, and it becomes lvl 45 Although Vocis can probably manage it by coming 10 levels short and spending a fatigue level.
To scry for the child is bordering upon scrying upon this other magus. He may raise an issue as to how you located him.
I am not saying you can't dance an argument around these things. You jus need to keep your story straight. We don't know for fact that the abductor is a magus. Scrying for a missing child and finding them is perfectly legit.
Moreso, since he used a spell that only allowed him to see the child, he couldn't have seen the magus in any way, so this helps should he get into legal trouble.
I doubt anyone will ask you about what unique skills you have.
Well, actually, that's Arachné's fault : She's always seeking how she can factor everyone, and how a given magus may contribute to the covenant's defenses.
More of focus on feeding people as well.
A few Creo Herbam spells might be useful there Be it base 1 or 15+
They are great, and don't need vis.

I also want to point out (since you had mentioned the idea of a Merinita) that while traditionally this covenant has not dealt with a lot of faeries that will change with me as the newly appointed story squid- for one things faeries are really useful for generating plots since that seems to be their primary goal in life...
Are you saying that he should make a Flambeau Maga? They're the best suited to deal with Faeries, after all.
If any flambeaus would like to try out Fleur's garden region we can put that to a test...
I started a thread for character development.
