First thing is we need to have Max rule on if we won anything at the tournament. If so then we need to decide what it is. I was angling for a story of the secret society helping Novus Main by "fixing" some events at the tournament so we finished 23rd. That would be a huge help as the reward is 6+6.

I think that roughly it goes like this for each point of winnings you can get
1 pawn of vis per year until the next tribunal
5 pawns of vis
A number of points of books

The exact numbers are at home.
with the 6+6 we get 6 and distriubute 6 to other new or weak covenants

I thought that you could pick from the uncontrolled vis sources ( can't remember the name) or a book or a magic item. you could also take the prize as the vis.

Any thoughts on my other question on the Tithes expense. That could be saving us 60 pounds per year.

Yes thats what I was trying to say , however its the conversion rates I can't remember and I forgot about the magical items.

As for the Walter plot, um, well, I forgot . Max was letting me run wild on my own there. Basically, Walter was just a middle man. Dragor set him up with Tremere bankers. I hinted that it is possible that Dragor was fooled, and it was really Reginald (Amphoraxius) who posed as a Tremere banker. If that is the case, we got off lucky because his secret society is then secretly funding us. We still owe finance payments to Walter's widow Veronica though (who is probably already hooked up with Reginald again).

But what of Walter's restless ghost?

When I was looking over the Covenant info yesterday I noticed something that we are not doing correctly or was interpreted incorrectly.
Under hooks:
Regio with Unexpected Entires

Now according to the Covenant book this means that the Covenant is IN the regio. This can work out well but it would alter the write up slightly. I would guess that the two towers are in the Regio.

Although I think Jan Axel may object to being set up as our Lady as it would require a lot of disguises or Muto corpus spells.

That sounds ominous. Care to elaborate?

It is paraphrasing a line from Hellboy 2 when they release some nasty dark faeries on some people.

But Halvard is stronger at night. Can see in the dark. fear is a powerful weapon. Try to think of a way to be theatric in your confrontation with the other town. Give them a reason to fear us.

I don't know. Wirth has few social skills to speak of. He has Guile and a few social spells, but without a score in Charm or Etiquette, he is at an additional -3 penalty (in addition to the gift), plus would roll three extra botch dice if he rolls a 0.

He just needs to cast the spell. Someone can do the talking. Better yet, with the spell's power, the leader may decide by himself to betray his mistress.

And terror tactics and commando strikes are well within his grasp. What do you do when the guy next to you suddenly dies screaming? And then, the other guy? And then, darkness engulfs everyone, and night-seeing soldiers start killing you and your companions?

Yeah, I think we should switch. Roberto should go meet with the noble as originally planned. Wirth is much better at a subersive style of warfare than I am. Roberto is flash and flare, not at all subtle. He favors direct confrontation. Wirth is our commando/night raider magus

I was lucky from May until september last year I had kob hassles but I was able to get a new job really fast and have not had any problems since. Although I know now more about cancer than I ever wanted too
