The Grand Tribunal and the Hiberian invasion

There is no trouble getting the spoon to Qui Sonant, though you do spot the second more northward expedition on your way. The group traveling by foot will not catch up to them unless you inform them when you meet in Dublin and put an effort into following them...
You meet in Dublin the day after next (unless someone wanted to hang back and see what the group does in the morning) in the appointed inn.

So Arnar hid the spoon without being seen by any QuiSonantists?

If he has time, before they meet in Dublin, he takes the detours to see if he can locate the three foreign groups. I reckon he can easily locate the friends as they approach Dublin and at least have a fair chance of locating the Western and Northern group in time. Any change? Or any obvious destinations? Is the West-bound group moving again?

At the inn, Sionnach will avoid others as much as possible, instead preferring to keep watch of the sky in case Arnar approaches in eagle form, ready to ask about how it went and if there were any signs of the groups coming to Ireland.

The west bound group continued on, but without the oldest member. None of them have any obvious destinations, except that they seem to be heading somewhere at a significant distance and seem to be avoiding established covenants.

Strange he thinks, as he flies down outside Dublin, to change out of sight from the city. He hurries to catch up with the group. He never intended to let them wait.

«Hi. All safe and secure. The West bound group has left their elder behind and contiued. And the North-bound group is ahead of us. What do we do next? Do we want to explore the regio? Or is it better to leave the spoon in the Graveyard?»

SG note: while fine for a short term hiding spot, the graveyard is in use- new people being buried and people tending the grounds, so eventually the spoon is likely to be found there by mundane means...

I thought the Graveyard was so vast and sparsely populated that that would be unlikely in any interesting time frame.

Sionnach smiles at the news, nodding as he hears Arnar's account. "We have to take it out eventually, don't we? At any point someone might stumble upon it while tending to the graveyard or preparing a new tomb. I'd say let's get to exploring the regio."

"I agree. That sounds interesting and might show us a more permanent place to store it," Bran says.

«Very true. Do we leave tomorrow morning, then? I would not mind a day's rest, but ... »

"Sure, or the day after. We could enjoy the sights and sounds of Dublin."

[Not terribly sure I want to play being a "tourist" with a couple of non-gently gifted folks but Bran would definitely suggest it figuring the spoon won't be likely dug up in a matter of days.]

I reckon we just take a lie-in, stock up with some food for the travel, enjoy ourselves, and move on the day after ... Regio crawling here we come.

You gather your supplies and take a relatively leisurely journey up to the area of Qui Sonant. The grass is a little longer in the graveyard, so it probably hasn't been tended to in the last week.

[OOC: I thought we were exploring the regio at Slieve Foy and trying to determine if it was a useful place to hide the spoon before we went to Qui Sonant to gather the spoon.]

you would have to pass Qui Sonant anyways, since Slieve Foy is on the peninsula which Qui Sonant is at the landward end of.

[Ah, that was unclear to me looking at google maps for the one and the book for the other.]

OOC. Would it be customary to call on Qui Sonant for hospitality?

it would be unusual outside of the MacgnĂmartha, but for those on the MacgnĂmartha it would be fairly routine if you were in the area.

«Should we call on Qui Sonant for hospitalit, maybe? And explore tomorrow?»

"Sounds like a good idea, we can rest and even check up on our little treasure. I also think I'm overdue for a visit to the place. What do you think, Bran?"
