Hello everyone!
I was reading Charles Stross "A Conventional Boy", a book I recommend heartily to you all ( As I do for all of his books: He's a great writer ), especially if you lived through the Satanic Panic
It also includes the short novel " Overtime", which describes the Laundry's Forecasting Ops, something which sounds so Tremere-like, I thought of Project: Silver Crow.
Sadly, even if the OOH is more advanced than the rest of Mythic Europe, I doubt their understanding of mathematics extends to probabilities analysis.
Still, this gave me an idea: Since people with intuition more often than not " get it right", why not ask a bunch of them random questions?
If you've got , say, 10 "diviners" across ME, and they all answer "yes" when you ask them " Is the OOH in imminent danger?", chances are you're in big trouble.
Of course, there are probably follow-up questions, like " is the danger internal or external?".
Note that, as @ezzelino brilliantly remarqued, this can easily become a self-fulfilling prophecy
