Vis Sources PDF - Need your opinion

So, I have written a product with 195 Vis Sources. The vast majority based on tales, and actual places. That is 15 Vis sources (One for each Art), for each Tribunal (13 Tribunals).

As am finishing up writing it, before I send it to some people to go over my grammar, I have a question for you guys/gals, on how to arrange the Vis Sources

Just to be clear. Whatever the decision is, the PDF will include two lists, one by Tribunal, and one by Art. The question is how to arrange the Vis sources themselves within the PDF.

Cool project! If you need grammarians I’d be happy to help!

I voted sort by Art. I may be wrong, but I expect that for most sources the tribunal is easy to change, the Art less so. (Though, just a thought: why not include alternative Arts for the sources where that makes sense?)

This does sound cool!

I didn’t include alternative Arts for the sources, but I did include a note saying that you don’t need to abide by the Arts I’ve chosen for each source.

Also, some of these can’t be changed to a different Tribunal, because some regional myths, and gods, can’t always be interchangeable with others. But, of course, am not gonna stop people from using them in a different tribunal, if they so choose.

The entire idea is to showcase Vis sources that might not be easily evident, and that use real life myths and folktales. For some of them, I also include some story hooks, or side notes.

Ordinarily I’d strongly urge organizing vis sources by Art. But in this case your work with the local folklore makes that, in my opinion, makes the group of vis sources by location more important. They will “make sense” grouped together. Whereas if I read a collection of Terram vis sources and they use folklore from all over Mythic Europe I am busy hunting for the single one that’s in my tribunal.

It sounds like they are locale specific and so by Tribunal would make more sense than by Art in this case. Obviously by Art within each Tribunal

Tribunal.

As others have said, it seems the Vis sources are going to be tied to local stories, events, landmarks, etc, which seem location specific. I’m sure with some tweaks they could be moved, however, having it sorted by tribunal, is probably more logical.

The Voting will be until this coming Saturday, and then I’ll see what the majority of the votes say.
In the meantime, am working on finishing the basic editing.
